Depending on how confident and fit a cyclist you are, there are a range of destinations that can be accessed by bike from The Fairways.
Stafford town centre can be accessed in under 10 minutes, including the train station which is a similar distance away. From here, there are a range of amenities, job opportunities and facilities that can be accessed, including a leisure centre, supermarkets, medical facilities, cinema, pubs, restaurants and more.
The National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 5 runs directly past The Fairways and offers a traffic-free, fully lit pathway into the town centre. Following the River Sow for part of the route, it provides a safe path for those wishing to cycle, no matter their ability or confidence.
